We are here to offer support and information to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people of Essex. Based in Colchester town centre we provide a range of services and groups free of charge.
Whatever is going on for you, from counselling to health advice, from homophobia and transphobia reporting information to legal advice, from housing to employment, we may have the thing you need to make life a little better. We also offer social and support groups for women, men and young people.

Niche Night - Friday 26 April
A carnival themed club night takes place on Friday 26 April at Level 2, University of Essex, raising funds for Outhouse East.
The night is open to all from 10:30pm to 2:45am, and costs £4 for students and £5 for non-students.

Tuesday Affair - Tuesday 30 April
The Tuesday Affair will be returning once a fortnight as of Tuesday 30 April. The Tuesday Affair is organised by Outhouse East and the University of Essex LGBT & Friends Society, designed for students and open to all. Come along for a coffee and a chinwag at Outhouse East from 7:00pm.
Recruiting volunteers in South West Essex!
Ever thought about getting more involved in working with your local LGBT community? We are actively recruiting volunteers in South West Essex to be part of an exciting new pilot project, LGBT Health Champions, to offer help, sign posting and support to your local LGBT community. The role includes attending events and visiting local venues.

Youth Project
Outreach Youth, for LGBTQ teens 13 - 19, has returned after taking some time out over the summer. The group is now meeting once a month on a Saturday afternoon between 3pm - 5pm. A full list of forthcoming dates can be found on our Youth Project page on the left.
